Another Jaw Breaking Movie to Watch for!

A very light  and funny movie starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, 21 Jump Street is a story of 2 former high scool not-so-buddies who became cops and went to high school again for there first undercover mission, to stop a new synthetic drug from spreading to other campuses by finding the supplier. They go undercover as brothers, living with Morton Schmidt (Jonah Hill) parents and went back to their old school and Greg Jenko (Channing Tatum) accidentally switch their identities and they get each others’ classes – fun gets crazier!

Channing Tatum’s reaaly hot! No matter what role and character, he’s just so uuugggghhh! Though they made him look stupid on this movie -i guess that’s what makes it so funny! The whole thing made him the right person for the character. I never imagine him in those shoes, doing comedy and saying things that makes him so ignorant and stupid (apologies for the term) or can i just say hotter instead? yeaaaah! I even sang this song in the middle of watching this movie: “Every move you make, Every step you take…” and so on.. I even slap my room mates shoulder who just had a vaccine ’cause i can’t stop from laughing! jeeez, i totally forgot about the vaccine thing!

I also want to applaud Jonah Hill on giving his best on this movie. Without him? it’s like a coffee without a creamer and i just can’t imagine! This won’t be as good as it is! I can say that they really have a chemistry working together. Perfect combination they got there! Part 2, pleeeeease? And of course, Jonny Depp is love! I was a bit surprise on his appearance and disappearance there! AWESOME GREAT!

If I was to rate this movie, I will give it a score of 9 out of 10! surprising, funny, naughty, jaw breaking movie! I had to take pain re-leaver for my jaw after watching this movie! seriously!

So, if you’ve been looking for stress-free entertainment movie, well, put this on your weekend-to-watch list!

NEVER TOO LATE FOR SUMMER!

Summer is about to end and rainy season is just coming and before the rain gets harder, I had a chance to wear what every girl wants to wear on a summer… swimwear! And not just a 1 piece swimsuit you wear in your swimming class but a two-piece swimsuit that I am eyeing ever since I can’t remember! Yeah! And because I have a tiny/petite body, it took me years to have the guts of buying and actually wearing a piece of cloth (nyay!)

Moving forward, I want to share you this store that sells different kinds of sexy-sexy-swimwear! The store is called Cococabaña and I got to check one of their biggest store located in Mall of Asia. The store is full of exceptional designs of Swimwear and Maxi Dress’s for women that fit your style and personality –Tank top, Bandeau styles, Maillot styles or what we known as the traditional one-piece swimsuit and who hates Monokinis?! Awesome!

I even purchase one of their most selling item -I called it zebra design because of how it looked like but it’s simply black and white swimwear. Here’s the photo of it (oh! Just to warn you guys that the model appears in this picture is NOT ME! ;p):

Here are some samples of Cococabaña’s swimwear and Dress:

Lovely! Isn’t it? The price is very affordable too! For only Php 300.00 you can easily get a colorful and dashing Maxi Dress and for Php699.00 – 1,500.00 you’ll get a piece of chickish and stylish swimwear from cococabaña!

ImageCococabaña is located at Women’s store, South Wing, SM Mall of Asia and selected SM Department Store.

iWhite Nose Pack – Beauty Regimen 101

All of us wanted to have a flawless skin especially when it comes to our face! We all become too fussy talking about How-to-get-a-pimple-free-face! Why? Simply because it’s our one of our asset, and as the saying goes: “Beauty is in the face of the beholder” yeah, fine! I changed it a bit, but let’s face it! It’s true! That’s why most of us are spending too much in makeup and concealing our faces from those tiny zits.

In this blog, I’m going to share you one of my beauty regimen. Have you ever heard of iWhite products? Or does it sound familiar to you? 4 years ago, I saw my sister putting something on her face and I got so curious about it. I look at the product, google it and I found plenty of reviews and comments about it, some are negative but most of it is positive. So I tried it myself!
First, I tried the iWhite Nose pack, a Korean product that minimizes the pores and excess oil on the nose area. More importantly, it’s very effective in removing blackheads and whiteheads. It has active ingredients of Mulberry Root extract, Aloe Vera leaf extract, vitamins A,C,E, water, Propylene Glycol, Polyvinyl Alcohol and other supplement that helps lighten and moisturizes skin.

  ImageImage

I try to use it 2 to 3 times a week and I can tell that I’m getting good results and of course, very affordable too! iWhite Nose pack 3g sachet only costs Php18.00 that you can use twice while the 50g bottle costs only 180.00 which you can use for a maximum of 2 to 3 months depending on your usage. Very great deal you have there!

If you want to try the product, check out all Mercury Drugs outlet near you!

Enjoy! :)

Curl all the way!

Last week i am so restless on what to do with my hair. I really want to get it curled ’cause i feel so bored on how it look like -straight! just straight hair. So last week while i’m doing nothing but to listen on Taylor Swift’s Enchanted, I made some research on different salon that offers hot and cold perms.

My research lead me to Tony and Jackey, but they’re really expensive -Digital Perming cost about Php 6,000 so NO! Then I went to Bench Fix website and start inquiring about their prices, Bench Fix offers 2 kinds of perm treatment, one is Digital Perm or what they also called Hot Perm -price is roughly ranging from Php5,000.00 – 6,000.00 depending on your hair length, while L’Oreal Perm or Cold Perm is ranging from Php 1,300 to 2,000.00 – NOT BAD!

So, pam has a plan now!

Unfortunately, it rained so hard last Saturday that leads me to take a bus with a signboard “PACITA -SAN PEDRO” yeah! that’s where i live, by the way! And my mind is telling me “move! move! move!” and I answer “fine!” sounds crazy right? :D

My Plan B was to call my mom and ask her to look for a salon that offers this kind of treatment. It was so hard to convince her at first. She doesn’t want to get my hair perm and instead asking me to to get my hair re-bonded. Noooooooo! But as soon i got home, she told me about this salon near our place called “CUTS and CURLS” located at San Vicente Rd. San Pedro, Laguna. To my surprise, the salon is very cosy, though small, it’s clean and the stylists are very friendly. As to the price of the treatment? it cost Php600.00! yeah! very affordable, right? I was scared to get a bad result, but i trust the stylist and he/she seems to know what she’s doing.

So i went on with the process and after 4 hours of sitting and waiting… here’s the result of my eagerness to get my hair perm! or should i say “craziness?” hehe!

I love it! I’m getting a lot of compliment from my office mates and they want to get their hairs done as well! haha!

What i learned about this? In Php600.00 i got my hair perm, and i got a new style! :)

Villa Mar Beach Resort Review

I was one of the happiest employee when boss announced last week that our company will be having 2-day off from April 30-May 1. It was indeed a great time to relax and go somewhere near the shore. And because I am afraid of going to beach because I’m scared of large spaces, I decided to finish all this scare feeling of going to the coast. I search the net and look for an affordable beach resort near in Manila, I google it and found plenty of resort in Cavite area and because I haven’t heard of the place called Noveleta I decided to go there and celebrate Labor Day in one of those beach resort with my boyfriend.

Villa Mar Beach Resort is very accessible, and according to my mom it’s been there since she was single and her family used to go there every summer. It has been a tourist destination of most Filipinos back then, production companies used to shoot their films as well, big and powerful waves, and who hates sunset? Ugh! A very beautiful picture of sunset (photo by: Seth Lospe), I swear!

Entrance fee is Php 30.00, Cottage rate is Php100.00, Room rate per day is Php500.00 and you’ll spend Php 200.00 for transportation. If you’re looking for a pastime, going to beach is one of the most leisure pursuit you can reward to yourself and if you’re not too finicky, you’ll surely enjoy every piece of the shore.

I just wished that people who visit the resort will be responsible enough to throw their garbage on the trash bin and won’t let their waste float over the water, ‘cause hey! They might swim back for you. So, If I’m going to rate my first shore experience, I’ll give it a 5 out of 10! It was ok, the whole experience was fun and exciting except for the garbage, people!

But yeah! Still fun though! :)

Double Celebration

It’s true that one cannot predict the future and no one can assume what will happen in the next few years. I, myself – and I guess some of my/our friends thought that I will be the first to get married and I will be the first to get pregnant – to Maw – but NO. I don’t really feel bad and insecure about not being the first –of course I’m not yet ready as well. But these events makes us so excited for 2012 knowing that any minute from now, two of our fiends will become a mom –actually ‘became a mom’ and another one will soon become a wife.

What a blessing, right?

Aw! Let me introduce them to you.

Rolling, please…

Year 2001-2005

Full name: Kathryn G. Umelda (center)
Height: Not so tall,
Weight: Not so big,
Gender: hmm, Not so girl and not so boy BUT he like guys who’s tall, dark and some! Hahah! Tell me I’m wrong? She used to really like this guy way back in high school. What’s his name again? “Po… Po… Po…” never mind!

*That’s her, the way she speaks, she acts, and she dressed – so boyish and so manly. But inside is a lady who just wished to love her back like all of those ladies during high school.

And look at the product of LOVE – TREY! (Rodrigo Umelda Bahio III)

***

 Full name: Camille Khimberly Joven
Height: Same as mine
Weight: Same as mine (fine! I’m slimmer!)
Gender: So femine meaning shy, old-fashioned, quiet, calm, and conservative.
Favorite Song: Hey JUDE! Hahahahha!
Well, she never admit of liking this guy but she’s making so pa-cute to him! Thank God I remember his name – Jude! :D

*A very simple girl, the smart one and yes! She’s the bread winner of the family.

Time flies… I really can’t stop smiling every time I’m thinking about how we grew up so fast and how we mature from a lady into a woman. I feel so blessed for having these kinds of friends… these kinds of people. No matter how we seldom see each other, no matter how we’ve been trough all these past few years. We do believe in one thing: FRIENDSHIP.

I love you all guys!

My Greatest Friends!

They say that in every road you take, you’ll meet someone who will hold your hands and take those journeys with you.

I have lots of friends whom I cherish so much. Most of them I met when I was elementary, some are those from high school and college and some I met when I was working. But I have five GREATEST Friends whom – I can say I really can’t afford and I never wanted to lose.

Let me share them with you.

Name: Mary Grace Altobar

Simple. Shy. Quiet. We share the same passion back then – singing – though I’m not good at it, it seems that the melody of friendship blends well. We had this song book which we write all our favorite songs and we’ll sing it together, and our favorite song? “The Greatest Love of All” She’s like a real little sister to me that when I knew she’ll be living for Canada, I wanted to hate her BUT NO, I can’t and I wont because I know our friendship will never stop. Though miles apart, we make sure to write each other via telegram to update each other.  I love this girl. I’ve learned the word friendship trough her and I will never ever forget those times with and without her.  And to be honest, I missed her. I missed her like an Ate misses her younger sister. Please come home.

Name: Athel Eve Coronado

Quiet. Calm. Easy. I’ve learned a lot from the simplicity of this girl. She’s very content of what she has and still feels blessed about it. You’ll hear no words of demand and of arrogant with this person and above all, she stayed with me during many times of intrigue and difficulties during last few years of elementary. Open up anything to her and you’ll hear nothing but she’ll let you feel she’s just there and she’ll be there for you. I will never forget the medal that we’d exchanged during our graduation to remember all the hardships as a student and as an individual. I am keeping it like the way I am keeping our friendship. Thank you, Thel. Let’s meet again soon.

Name: Michelle Rizaldo

Brave. Straightforward. True. Loud. What you see is what you get. She’s the perfect definition of True Person. She might seem difficult to be with at first, but once you know her, you’ll never ever want to let go. She became my confidant, my adviser, and my sister. With her, I don’t need to explain and I don’t need to please because she understands and she never judged. She’s the person I know, will fight with me until the end of war.  She’s not just a friend but she’s a family.  With her, I’ve learned to be patient, I’ve learned loyalty and above all, I’ve learned to trust God. I am very grateful for simply knowing this amazing person and more thankful for the friendship we’re sharing. Thanks, te! :)

Name: Sarah Alyssa Marie Lanuza

Surprising. Fearless. Adventurous. Talented. With her, I have no worries sharing different stuff. No awkward moments but only funny and memorable one. With Sam, I’ve learned to take risks, to go beyond my limitation and to explore and enjoy my college life. A very tough person, in spite off all the things she’s been through, you’ll see a dreamer, and a very ambitious person who’s very eager to learn anything to be able to grow.  A lady full of surprises to his other half and lady full of passion for all the things that she does. I love you, Kambal! <3

Full Name: Thea Rosal

Tough. Loyal. Survivor. I just love her! Well, she thought me to read novel books. Haha! I guess, my friendship with this person is different. Maybe because we’re both mature when we met, or I really don’t know.  But I know her and I know her past and I really can say she survived it all. I’ve learned trough all the experience that she’s been trough. I am hurt when she’s hurt and I feel down when she’s down. She’s the perfect definition of Love and Loyalty. I missed her. I learned my lesson when I resigned and left her alone in the company I used to work in. But even though I’m not around, I’m here. I’m just here wanting and praying nothing but her happiness. I miss you, Thea!

I just love them all!

Thanks girls!

see me soon, please?
